JOHN NAI
Chairman & Managing Director
John Nai is the sole owner of Austway Investments P/L t/as Coastal Midwest Transport. John purchased the company in 1993 as part of a strategic plan to provide cost effective transport services to the WA region. In this time the growth of the company has matched its success with Coastal Midwest Transport having an enviable reputation as a successful provider for logistical services throughout Western Australia. John’s focus centres on quality service to clients and having quality people work for the organisation. This coupled with his strategy of re-investment in his company has led to a strong and flexible team able to meet any customer’s needs.
MICHAEL WILDEN
General Manager
Michael joined Coastal Midwest Transport in 1999, with an inherent skill for providing exemplary customer service, paired with an innovative and flexible approach to business development.
He has been integral in shaping Coastal Midwest Transport’s reputation as one of the largest and most reliable, safety conscious freight transport companies servicing the Goldfields and northern and Mid West regions of Western Australia.
Michael assumed the role of General Manager in 2010 and is now responsible for the company’s operations around the state.
TERRY BINGHAM
Head of Technology & Infrastructure
Terry has managed Coastal Midwest Transport's IT and infrastructure needs since 2011 overseeing many major projects including the successful implementation of our Freight 2020 logistics managament system, our Off Site Receipting capability and associated integration to our clients systems.
Terry has become a core part of the senior management stream advising on strategy and business development as well as technology and infrastructure.
PETER ROBERTSON
Operations Manager, Kalgoorlie
Peter has four decades experience in moving freight. He joined the company more than 20 years ago. He became Perth Operations Manager in 2007 and has managed our Kalgoorlie Operations since 2018.
Peter has an umatched grasp of loading and vehicle requirements and moving freight through the Goldfields. Peter is responsible for all yard and operations personnel, sub contractors and allocation of all assets in Kalgoorlie.
LYNDON REDFERN
Operations Manager, Perth
Lyndon commenced working with us in 2019 as our Yard Supervisor and progressed to become our Perth Operations Manager in 2020.
He oversees the operations team and our team of drivers and subcontractors.
He is also responsible for organising all site deliveries & services to Kalgoorlie and surrounding regions within the Goldfields and Mid-West regions. Lyndon provides 24/7 access to all clients across Coastal Midwest Transport.
KIM IRELAND
Off Site Receipting Manager
With more than four decades in the mining industry, principally in supply chain, store management and supply superintendant roles, Kim has worked in many of the largest gold mines in the Goldfields region.
Kim was recruited in 2017 by Coastal Midwest Transport from Gold Fields Australia, where he spent two decades as supply superintendant, to head up or Off Site Receipting (OSR) operations, overseeing both our Perth and Kalgoorlie OSR teams.
DIANNE BROAD
Group Administrator and Chairman's Assistant
Di has been with Coastal Midwest Transport for 25 years and oversees the operations of the various private companies affiliated with our business and is the assistant to our Chairman for Coastal Midwest Transport and his other private interests.
SVETLANA MALUNOVA
Management Accountant
Svetlana is our management accountant, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting as well as payroll and other financial responsibilities.
HAYLEY YOUD
Tender & Brand Management
Hayley has held several roles with us for approaching 15 years including OHS, Operations, Payroll and sales and now leads our branding and tender systems and processes.
