Linehaul Transport
Coastal Midwest Transport provide linehaul freight services to Kalgoorlie Monday to Friday weekly. Semi trailers, B-Trains and Road Trains carry freight overnight into Kalgoorlie.
Freight is then collected or delivered to customers in the local Kalgoorlie and surrounding districts such as Kambalda, Norlisk, St Ives, Norseman and Higginsville.
Freight required for longer distances such as Leonora, Laverton and Leinster are then combined with ex Kalgoorlie freight and sent three times weekly to those centres.
Coastal Midwest Transport also travel to Birla Nifty in the Pilbara at least weekly.

Air and sea
Coastal Midwest Transport works extensively with agents on the co-ordination of all freight movements to ensure clients’ cargo is handled with due care from pickup to final delivery, covering all of your air and sea freight requirements. Specialising in wharf cartage, storage and distribution, Coastal Midwest Transport’s highly professional team is dedicated to providing a complete service to its clients.
Warehousing & distribution
Coastal Midwest Transport also operates a secure and modern warehouse facility for all industries, offering a complete receiving, storing and distribution service including stocktaking, stock control, inventory management and mine site replenishment.
CMT Logistics
Coastal Midwest Transport’s sister company, CMT Logistics based in Kewdale, provides services including wharf cartage – general and containers – and works with the Port Services of WA to provide a reliable and cost effective service for all client freight requirements including: goods receival; pick-up-to-wharf transportation; wharf handling; documentation production; customs and quarantine co-ordination.
CMT also provides a swing lift service as well as warehousing and distribution and general freight transport. It is the perfect compliment to Coastal Midwest Transport’s services.
